Temple of the Sacred Moons was founded by Rev. Lady Raivyn WindDancer and  Magus Silverhawk in 2005. Rev. WindDancer has been walking the Pagan Path for 30 years. In 1992-2005 she founded and led "Keepers of the Cauldron"  in Colorado. In 2008 Rev. WindDancer and Magus Silverhawk moved from Colorado to Minot, North Dakota and found a deep need for the Pagan's in the Armed Services on the Air Force Base in Minot. With the help of the Chaplin of the AFB, and CIRCLE Sanctuary, The Temple of the Sacred Moons has opened its arms to all our Armed Service Pagan Brother's and Sister's, a place to call Home. We also are here for the North Dakota Pagan Community as a whole, whether in the Armed Services or not.
                                                                      STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

It is the purpose of The Temple of the Sacred Moons to be dedicated to serving All our Armed Service Pagan Brothers and Sisters. For them within each of the Branches of the Military to know that they too have the same rights afforded to other Religions, "The Freedom of Religion". To help them have a safe place to follow their spiritual path. We do also serve those not in the Armed Forces. The Temple of the Sacred Moons holds that our Temple's Inner Circle is equated to a seminary where clergy are trained to serve the larger community. There are many Pagans who want to worship and celebrate the Sabbats and the Esbats together, yet do not desire to make the teaching and practice of Wicca the central focus of their lives. They are welcome to join us when we hold Open Circle.
